Official Application for South Dakota Stockgrowers Association and Guy E Ham Beef Industry Scholarship

Scholarships to be awarded annually to college students attending an accredited Higher Education College in South Dakota preparing for a career in Agriculture or Agri-Business.

Available to students who have successfully completed one full post High School academic year of study.

Applicant must be a member of SD Stockgrowers Association or a child of a member.

Applicants or parents may join SD Stockgrowers Association at the time of application.

DEADLINE: September  1, 2024

Scholarship(s) will be announced at our annual Convention October 8, 2024 and will be paid by  the SD Stockgrowers Association & the Guy E. Ham Scholarship Trust in December.

Please attach to your official application the following:

1. Copy of your full year grade and course transcript of record

2. Narrative statement explaining “Why I want to pursue a career in Agriculture

(500 word minimum)

3. Photo - Photo requested – in the event you are awarded a scholarship, photo will be used for publication.
